Can I pay you at the end of the week?" ; 2. used for showing that you think that something is reasonable: Letting the students work the machines on their own is fair enough, but they do need some training first.
中文释义：fair有公平、公正的意思，比如美国人常说：That's not fair（这不公平），enough是足够的意思，两个单词放在一起是用来表达“好吧，我懂了或者我理解了”的意思。比如对话："Why did you go to that university? It’s not prestigious." "Because they gave me a full ride." "Fair enough."所以fair enough在这里的使用语境是你最开始不同意或者不理解对方的意见或者行为，可是听了对方的解释之后豁然开朗了。有时候fair enough表达的含义还比较空洞，大致相当于汉语里的“哦，嗯，好吧”，此时说话人的语气可能很无奈。
