Hit the road
Hit the road: (also, hit the trail, especially American English). to depart; Set out, as on a trip. to begin one's journey, especially on a road trip; to leave for home.If you hit the road, you begin a journey. As in Let’s hit the road. We have a long way to go.
We'd better hit the road, we have a long way to go.(我们最好出发吧,还有很长的路要赶。) Lois, it's getting late. It's been a great party, but it's time for us to hit the road and get home to bed.
