看美剧学英语实用表达:You name it

You name it: You say you name it, usually after or before a list, to indicate that you are talking about a very wide range of things. Just about everything you can think of about this subject. This oral phrase from the mid-twentieth century indicates a list of things too extensive to enumerate. (Dan Lees, Zodiac, 1972).

中文释义:You name it不是“你命名它”,直译是“凡是你想得到的”, 也就是应有尽有的意思,英文同义短语是:whatever you can think of. 例句:Beer, wine, soft drink, you name it, they've got it. (啤酒,葡萄酒,饮料,凡是你说的出的,他们都有。)
