In this usage, a pronoun is not used between "under" and "control." As in Thankfully, the teacher was able to get all the screaming kids under control.
中文释义：使……在控制下的意思。对某人、团体或事物拥有权力;控制某人或某事，以限制其潜在的负面影响。在这种用法中，在“under”和“control”之间不用代词。例句: We’ve got the fire under control.（我们已经把火控制住了。）相反的：get something out of control 不在控制下。例句：We finally called the cops when things got out of control.（当事情完全失控的时候，我们给警察打了电话。）
