中文释义：在日常的口语交际中，我们经常使用Good Heavens这一感叹语来表示惊愕、谴责、不高兴等心情，可译为“天啊”等。然而，人们通常认为Good Heavens是个委婉语，因为使用这一表达方式的初衷是为了避免在指上帝（God），对上帝表示敬仰和崇拜。另外引申几个意思相近的口头语：Oh my goodness;Oh Jesus;Oh for god's sake;Oh for heaven's sake;Dear god;Oh my god等。
