Heads up
Heads up: Used as a warning to watch out for a potential source of danger, as at a construction site. Used as a warning to look out for danger especially overhead or to clear a passageway; a warning that something is going to happen, usually so that you can prepare for it; If you give someone a heads-up about something that is going to happen, you tell them about it before it happens.
Heads up, boys! a train is coming.(孩子们,当心点,火车开过来了。)跟take care、be careful相比,heads up更显得口语化,且发音更高昂。 I want to give you a heads up,I will not work tomorrow.(我想提前告诉你我明天不工作。)
