本帖最后由 Fannie 于 2020-7-16 16:20 编辑Have a thing (for sb/sth)：To have a romantic infatuation(迷恋) with someone, especially unbeknownst(不为人知的) to that person; To have a very keen or particular interest in something, to really like or enjoy something.
中文释义：当别人跟你说I have a thing for you，意思是“对你有意思”, 相当于I like you，可不要理解为我有东西给你。如果“对某事有强烈的喜欢或讨厌”，可以用Have a thing for/about sth。在中文语境中我们八卦时也会说:他俩有点儿事哈！其实就是一种：友情以上，恋情未满的状态。在美国人的口语中， thing还可以代表“重点”，相当于 key point，所以你会经常听见， "The thing is ……."或者 "Here is the thing."这类表达都是在强调接下来的谈话内容都是重点。
